Wrist Corsages that pop!

I personally think that any special occasion deserves a beautiful wrist corsage or accent to make the guest of honor feel special and appreciated.  I’m working on a few different designs with varied materials to offer several option within my Etsy shop (altFloral).  Please forgive my poor photography – I’m taking lessons over the weekend so hopefully we see some improvement.

This is one that I used at my own wedding – there are 2 satin flowers accented with a button in the center.  The flowers are attached by thread to a stretchy lace wristband.  I also added a button clasp to make sure that they stay on the wrist of your special guest.  I made these for my mother, my husband’s mother, my sister in law and my grandmother.  They all loved the wrist corsages and felt as if they were given something special to remember the day by.

This is a new design that I’ve been working on.  I made a fluffy and oversized tissue flower with very girly colors of pink and purple.  I decided to use a silver satin ribbon as the wristband.  I am considering using a latch to attach this firmly to a wrist or just tying it to the wrist for a more natural look.

I’m still working on a few coordinating boutonniere’s to go with these fun and stylish wrist corsages.  What do you think?  Any suggestions for materials and/or color combinations?
